Since 2001, the Department of Multimedia Content Development has been developing interactive resources for use in both our face to face and masters programs. We form part of the Associate Deanship of Learning Innovation and we are located on the first floor of Maria de Molina, 6.
Today we have developed more than 250 multimedia materials which include interactive cases, multimedia technical notes, simulations, games, exercises, interactive graphs, podcasts, applications for mobile devices, amongst others. Our principal goal is to help students get the most out of their learning experience here at IE. The results of our efforts can be seen through the very positive results of the feedback collected from students. Currently around 400 internal and associate professors regularly use such interactive resources in their courses.
The process we follow for producing multimedia documentation can be seen in the following video:
The multimedia documentation that has been developed is shown in the following catalogue:
We would like to use this opportunity to warmly encourage those associate professors that are interested in developing multimedia materials, to contact us in writing at firstname.lastname@example.org. It is also important to mention that all these interactive resources are freely available for use in your classes at IE. In order to use the multimedia documentation, you only need to include the name and code in your syllabus so that the Publishing Department can correctly post them to campus online. If you have any queries or questions regarding this, please feel free to contact us.
We are made up of 4 programmers and 4 designers, as well as the projects team who will be the ones in contact with the professors. This projects team consists of:
