How and when did you get to IE?

I completed an Executive MBA in 2000, and I started my collaboration that year, in a research project about Online Aggregation Models

What sport do you practice?

Currently, salon slalom chasing after my children. I also do spinning and fitness. Previously, I have done tennis, basketball and golf.

What is your favorite book?

1984, by George Orwell. Each year that passes is more current.

According to you, what makes a good professor?

A professional with knowledge and experience in their field, good communicator and with total commitment to service for the students.

How do you keep up-to-date?

Working in the same field that I teach…. and reading a lot and every day (online, of course)

What is the secret to your classes or presentations?

The focus on real cases, and my passion, I think it contagious by matter.

An anecdote in the classroom

In courses taught in English, it takes me some time to understand some of my students.  Once one student asked me a question, and I took it as a comment and continued as usual.

What is your favorite quote or motto of life?

Two: “The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary” and “Success and failure, those two impostors, always treat them with equal indifference.

What has been your worst experience in the classroom?

Feeling that sometimes I did not meet the expectations of my students. You can see it in their eyes and their body language
