How have you lived your experience at IE?

I first came to IE in 1998. It was still called the Instituto de Empresa in those days. I think there were about 50 people on the whole staff. Everybody knew everyone else, and they would even switch jobs; someone would run the MBA for three years, then swap with somebody who headed international development, say. It was a tight little ship. There was Maria de Molina and a few square meters in calle Pinar. What’s phenomenal is how IE has grown. Today it’s a huge university. It’s really one of Europe’s top success stories in education.
