How and when did you get to IE?

After some years working in Europe and Latin America, and during my maternity break, already back in Spain, I decided to do an Ex MBA on line (unrepeatable experience!). It was hard to believe when I was contacted by Didina González and Leopoldo Doadrio who called me and made me the proposition! This was almost 4 years ago.

What sport do you practice?

Half marathon running, ski and sailing

What is your favorite book?

The name of the rose, Umberto Eco

In Valencia

What is your favorite dish?
Paella prepared by my father

A memorable moment

The birth of my 2 daughters:

Maria (5) in Lima; Daniela (3) in Valencia.

What does it mean for you to be a good professor?

A good professor is the one that makes easy even the most complex topic and makes an effort to capture the audience interest.

How do you keep up-to-date?

With my current day to day activities as independent consultant and of course studying and reading specialized literature.

What is your secret for your classes or presentations?

Preparation and execution always considering the type of audience you have in front, ex post analysis.

A story in the classroom

One student introduced herself the first day of class saying she ‘hated accounting’. Finally she ended up on the top 3 of her class.
