The multimedia case of the month

In this third edition of the multimedia case of the month we have the pleasure of presenting the interactive technical note “Web 2.0”, developed for the area of Information Systems and Technologies.

Web 2.0

The technical note “Web 2.0” explains in detail the Web 2.0 concept and its various applications. The student begins by comparing Web 2.0 with the traditional web, through an interactive exercise, in order to get to grips with the theory. The note is then separated into sections, where definitions, videos and articles, provide details of the specific applications. The applications that are explored are the following: social networks, tag clouds, podcasting, blogs/videoblogs, mashups, wikis, RSS, y folksonomy. This interactive technical note provides a valuable inside into this internet movement and gives the student the chance to consider its application and relevance in business.
